Strawberries Filled with Cream:
This recipe is sweet and a different take on a typical strawberry dessert.
Ingredients:

• 16-18 large strawberries
• 1/3 cup mascarpone cheese
• 1/3 cup (80 ml) heavy whipping cream
• 2-3 (24-36 grams)tablespoons granulated white sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1. Cut off strawberry stems so that the fruit can lie sit upright.
2. Using a large knife, cut an “X” into the strawberry almost to the bottom.
3. Push open the strawberry’s “petals” gently.
4. Set aside while you make the cream filling.
5. In a medium sized bowl, whip the marscarpone cheese and whipping cream until soft.
6. Add sugar and vanilla and whip until stiff peaks form
7. Add the cream into the strawberry openings. This is best performed by using a pastry bag with a star tip.
8. Cover and put in the fridge until ready to serve.
